Policies

  • To comply with Tennessee state law, our bartenders will check the identification of anyone who appears to be under the age of 30. We only need to check IDs once, and this is to ensure that we are serving alcohol to patrons who are of age. It is important to note that if an individual who is of age is caught giving alcohol to a minor, they will not be served for the rest of the evening.

  • To ensure that our bartenders maintain control over the amount of alcohol distributed, guests are not permitted to serve themselves while a licensed and insured bartender is present. This includes any personal stashes, whether kept in a vehicle, purse, or pocket. Failure to comply with this policy may result in discontinuation of service. It's important to note that this policy is in place to protect the bartender's liability as well as our alcohol insurance. Additionally, if any member of the event is already intoxicated when the bartender arrives, they will be refused service.

  • According to Tennessee state law, it is mandatory that food be made "available" during all bar serving hours, including welcome drinks, cocktail hour, and the entirety of any event. Acceptable food options include cheese trays, chips and dips, etc.

  • In keeping with our obligation to serve responsibly, we generally do not pour shots or shooters. Occasionally, we may pour one celebratory shot for a bride and groom and the wedding party only; however, few exceptions are made. Shots and/or shooters served from an open bar can get out of control quickly, so as a general rule we do not pour them.

  • Last call isn't the end of the party, it's a friendly reminder that the clock is ticking. Bartenders will use this 30-minute window to tidy up, stash the liquor, and give a heads up to all the revelers that closing time is coming. No sudden goodbyes here, just plenty of time to enjoy your drinks. Just remember, last call isn't a closing bell, you can still order drinks for the next 30 minutes. However, in some rare cases, the establishment might have their own rules about last call. But hey, let's not worry about that, there's still plenty of time to party!

  • Please note that we do not automatically provide a tent for the bar. In the event of rain, it is the client's responsibility to have a back-up plan in place with their coordinator. If the temperature drops below 45 degrees, please ensure that the bar is relocated indoors or that a heater is available for the bartender. Furthermore, we ask that staff members are not placed directly in the sun during hot summer months. The safety of our staff is a top priority. If the chance of rain is 30% or higher during set-up, please utilize your rain plan.

  • We must secure the alcohol in a locked vehicle or otherwise secure location immediately following bar closure. No alcohol is to be served after bar closure. Please do not offer to distribute the “leftover” alcohol to your guests. This simply will not be permitted.

  • Our bartenders will not be able to transport any trash after the event, as they arrive in their own personal vehicles. Additionally, they are unable to leave the bar unattended or empty the trash throughout the event. Typically, the responsibility of handling trash falls on the venue staff or coordination team. Please ensure that you confirm who will be responsible for the removal of trash before your event.
